Realising damaged goods and average

- We arrange and pay for transport
- We buy despite sales restrictions
Why damaged lots need their own channels
After transport damage, water damage from firefighting or an average event, the same question comes up: what is the lot still worth, and who will take it? For insurers, surveyors and hauliers the answer often decides the settlement.
Damaged goods are not a special case for us. One of the partners in the network, Pierre Bene, has worked in salvage broking since 2001 — precisely in realising lots like these.
For the assessment we need the type of goods, the quantity, a description of the damage and the location. Photos help considerably. A site inspection is possible.
Which damage we take on
- Transport damage by road, rail and sea
- Water, firefighting and condensation damage
- Average events and container damage
- Pressure and crush damage to outer packaging
- Labelling and packaging errors
- Lots with damaged outer packaging but intact contents

Questions about damaged lots
Do you also buy total losses?
Often yes. Even when the contents are no longer saleable, parts can be recovered or properly disposed of. We will tell you what is possible.
Do you work with insurers and surveyors?
Yes. For the settlement we provide a traceable offer on the entire stock.
What happens to goods that cannot be used?
We pass them on for destruction, recycling or disposal.
Do you need a survey report?
Not necessarily. If one exists, it speeds up the assessment.
Offer a damaged lot
Describe the damage briefly. Photos speed up the assessment considerably.
